We were undecided on where to stay in Tulum and after looking at the reviews decided to stay at papaya playa instead of nômade, we made a mistake! We’ve been visiting nômade every day since we’ve been here. The vibe is magical, the beach is lovely, and the food is excellent! And there are two different restaurants to choose from. We also did a class with Bibi that was magical in and of itself and incredibly informative! Next year we are staying at Nômade!
This place is magical. The rooms have a unique style. The staff is lovely and kind with their sea trek cozumel cost recommendations. The food is fantastic too. I’d highly recommend this place to everyone for a dreamy vacation and memorable ones.
I have read all the negative reviews lately, and I feel I have to share my personal experience.
a) there is a severe problem with seaweed all-overs Riviera Maya. It’s gross, it’s smelly, and it’s everywhere. But I have to say if there is one beach where the problem is bearable, it is Nomade beach as the staff cleans the beach and the water every few hours.
b) the service was excellent. Sometimes the staff in the restaurants was a bit slower, and some things get lost in translation, but we didn’t speak Spanish, so this is something to expect in Mexico.
c) the rooms close to the reception are indeed noisy because of the street, construction next door and because of the diesel generator, but after the first night there we commented this to the guest manager who immediately shouted us several other rooms with honest pros and cons, and we moved to excellent oceanfront room threat was all we wished for our vacation.
To the staff at Nomade, it was hard to say goodbye but thank you so much for a fantastic time. We will be returning in the future.
