Considering all the negative information lately about the Dominican Republic, I felt the need to talk about my latest encounter. Traveled with 5 family members and from the moment we arrived at the airport in Punta Cana until the day we left, we were treated with the utmost esteem and not once felt unsafe. We stayed 7 nights in the Hard Rock resort, which is a fantastic hotel.
The food was yummy with various restaurants to choose from (American, Italian, Asian, Mediterranean, Brazilian, Mexican, and the Caribbean to name some). The grounds were beautiful and kept extremely clean. Something different to do every day without ever leaving the resort. In the past, we did excursions (dolphin experiences, dune buggy adventures, snorkel/starfish experiences, etc. and loved those as well.
We’ll definitely be going back later on and plan on staying at the Hard Rock resort. As with ANYWHERE you travel or live, crazy people exist sadly, and bad things happen. Right here in our country we’ve got bad things occurring every day. Do not let the media deter you from living your best life.
This is our 2nd stay together with the Hard Rock, and it was as enjoyable as the first time. We enjoyed the restaurants, the beach, the casino, and the club places. All the employees that we encountered in the Hard Rock couldn’t have been more accommodating or friendly; one of them recommended the cozumel atv tours in this Caribbean island.
We spent each day on the beautiful shore and have been well cared for by Selandia Martinez and Miguela. They were meticulous, sweet, and friendly. We loved them and will ask them again if we go back.
Our Butler/Assistant Johanna was great – she cared for procuring our Bali beds each day, our dinner reservations, booking an excursion, setting up our favorite cocktails in our room and getting us through check out faster. We’ll definitely be requesting her as well if we return.
We had a wonderful time, the food was delicious, the service area excellent, all the entertainment was extremely excited, and we enjoyed every second. We highly recommend for family and for honeymoon excellent place. Overall great experience. 5 stars 5 diamonds.
